APRICOT Pad Treats 


Fixings 

Batter: 

1 3/4 containers flour, filtered 

1/2 tsp lemon get-up-and-go 

1/4 tsp salt 

8 oz (225 g) cream cheddar delicate to room temperature 

1 container spread delicate to room temperature 

FILLING: 

1 container quality apricot jelly 

Directions 

Cream spread and cream cheddar with electric blender, filter flour and salt together, and mix in lemon get-up-and-go. With a wooden spoon mix in flour. At the point when very much mixed mixture will be sticky, structure batter into ball and refrigerate for 30 minutes. 

Cut batter into 3 pieces and turn out onto floured surface. Roll each piece to 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick, cut into 3 inch squares. Put 1 tsp apricot jam into focal point of each square. Brush edges of squares with egg whites, which have been beaten to a slight froth. Overlap batter corners to focus , covering apricot, and crush creases together. Brush with egg whites and sprinkle gently with granulated sugar. 

On an ungreased treat sheet place cushions an inch separated. Heat in a preheated 350 degree stove for 25 minutes or until gently cooked.
